ISIS Interior Increases Overhead Bin Space for Qantas Airways

March 22nd, 2013

Launch customer Qantas Airways has the first FAA certified ISIS 737 overhead pivot bin system installed on board a Boeing 737-800NG. Passengers traveling in the newly reconfigured cabin for the first time are enjoying more overhead bin space and the peace of mind that comes with that, and a new PSU (Passenger Service Unit) experience.

Stowage capacity for passengers' carry on roller bags has increased by up to 49% by installing the new ISIS overhead pivot bins. This essentially gives everyone room above their seat to stow a standard airline approved roller bag. To read the whole story, read the official press release.

Heath Tecna launched our YouTube channel today and our very first piece of content was provided by our Aftermarket Services group. They recently collaborated with Pixel Bokeh to produce a video about genuine Heath Tecna parts and how important it is to them to provide great service to our customers. The video also shows an inside look into their world of 145 Repair Station work and AS9120 spares distribution.

In addition, Aftermarket Services worked with brand agency Studiothink to produce a new brochure and website dedicated to promoting the services and components that they offer to the aerospace marketplace.

We'd like to take this opportunity to thank everyone involved, who assisted Aftermarket Services in their latest marketing efforts, including Pixel Bokeh, Studiothink, Zodiac Aerospace, and of course, the terrific employees at Heath Tecna.

HT Hosts PDR for Austrian Airlines B767 and B777 Reconfiguration Program

November 2nd, 2011

A project team from Austrian Airlines recently made several visits to Heath Tecna in September and October, to commence with a preliminary design review of a complex reconfiguration program for the airline’s international fleet of B767s and B777s. In June of this year, it was announced that Austrian Airlines awarded Heath Tecna with a large program to provide integration services and cabin interior products to modify 10 aircraft.

Heath Tecna’s Engineering, Program Management, and Certification teams worked very hard to ensure all of the necessary research and preliminary drawings were presented to the Austrian team during the PDR, and we appreciate everyone’s time and dedication at HT in meeting this important milestone. We enjoyed the visit from our Vienna customers and look forward to seeing the program continue through the critical design review in early 2012, as well as meeting our production schedule to deliver reconfiguration kits in the 2nd and 3rd quarters of 2012.

Heath Tecna is a global leader in the design, manufacture, and certification of highly engineered aircraft interior products. It is a provider of premium services for the aerospace industry and is a part of the Zodiac Aerospace group.
