Integration of In-Flight Entertainment

In-flight entertainment products and services are always improving, always on the cutting edge of technology. When an airline reconfigures the aircraft, the IFE usually gets heavily scrutinized. Passengers carry modern gadgetry on board and compare what the airline has to offer versus what they have in their pocket or purse. New seats for economy class typically have monitors installed in the backrest now, and on-demand programming is expected. In addition, social zones on larger aircraft such as the A380 are commonly outfitted with large displays, interactive exhibits, and custom interface controls for passengers to enjoy.

When frequent flyers have exposure to airlines who have nice IFE such as that described above, flying with another carrier who has an older system installed doesn't sound like much fun. This often means the IFE gets updated quite often and is something our customers like to do when a reconfiguration program is scheduled.
